The second batch of health professionals for the 2013 medical outreach programme is arriving in Bolgatanga, the capital of Upper East Region on the 22nd of December 2013.

Work will begin from the 23rd of December 2013 to the 1st of January 2014.

The group will be at the following areas namely;

  1. Bolgatanga Regional Hospital
  2. Zebilla District Hospital
  3. Sandema District Hospital
  4. Navrongo War memorial Hospital
  5. Bongo District Hospital
  6. Tongo Health Centre
  7. Nangodi Health Centre
  8. Zuarungu Health Centre
  9. Gambibgo Health Centre

We are grateful to the heads of the District Hospitals and Health Centres for having us to augment their work by providing some specialist healthcare to the vulnerable in the deprived communities.

The first batch for this year’s medical outreach programme in the Upper East Region is ending its work today and would leave for kumasi tomorrow, 22nd December 2013.

The first batch arrived on the 18th of December and  worked from the 19th – 21st December 2013.

The group were in the following areas namely;

1. Sandema District Hospital

2. Navrongo War Memorial Hospital

3. Bolgatanga Regional Hospital

4. Zebilla District Hospital and

5. Bongo District Hospital

We are so grateful to the Medical Superintendents of the various hospitals for their enormous support towards the successful end of the work of the first batch of health professionals.

May God richly bless them for supporting this noble cause.

The second batch will arrive on the 22nd of December 2013 and work will begin work  on 23rd December 2013.

December 2012 medical outreach news

The group is pleased to announce that, the December 2012 medical Outreach programme in both the Upper East and Upper West Regions was very successful and the results overwhelming.

A record of 295 surgeries performed in both regions was set and we are thankful to all the institutions and Individuals who helped us to achieve this record.

The group is preparing for its next outreach in April 2013. This would be in the Upper West Region and Northern Region, specifically, Gushegu.

The time table for the April programme would be posted in due course.
